Cycle-pedestrian path

Conversion of a railway section into a cycle / pedestrian path and redevelopment of the intervention area. The project intervenes on the narrow coastal strip that connects San Lorenzo al Mare and the two urban centers of Porto Maurizio and Oneglia, in order to eliminate the situations of heavy degradation generated by the decommissioning of the railway line. This frees up strategic areas for new ideas of associated life and represents a great opportunity for transformation within the city. Zero land consumption strategy, a green line as a connection path between "peripheral" and "center" districts, capable of converting an abandoned infrastructure into a green connective mobility axis. The cycle / pedestrian path will have a width of 6.00 meters and a maximum gradient of 10% for a length of 7 kilometers.
